Whatever It Takes (2000)

"Whatever It Takes" is a 2000 teen romantic comedy built on the old Cyrano setup, following a student who schemes his way through fake favors and crossed signals to win over his crush. James Franco appears in a supporting role as one of the classmates caught up in the plan, years before his name carried weight in Hollywood. The hub holds 3 scenes from the film, pulled from scenes of flirting and locker-room-style teen antics rather than explicit content. This is the one for viewers digging through Franco's early credits before he became a fixture on bigger sets.
