"The Deep Blue Sea" is a postwar British drama steeped in obsession and heartbreak, following a woman who abandons her stable marriage for a reckless affair with a former RAF pilot. Tom Hiddleston brings a wounded intensity to that role, all charm and self-destruction, and it's his physicality the site hones in on.
