Jexi (2019)

"Jexi" is a comedy about a phone-addicted guy whose life gets upended when his smartphone develops a jealous, manipulative personality of its own, pushing him to actually live outside his screen. Adam DeVine leads the film with his usual manic energy, and the hub page collects 2 scenes that catch him in a more exposed light than the trailers ever showed. Fans looking for the skin beneath the slapstick will find bared moments here worth the click, tucked into a comedy that otherwise keeps things fairly PG-13 on the surface.
