Hunger (2008)
Movie 2 videosDirected by Steve McQueen
Hunger is Steve McQueen's 2008 drama centered on the 1981 IRA hunger strike led by Bobby Sands. Michael Fassbender plays Sands, and the film tracks his physical decline with a body that visibly thins over the course of the story. He appears fully naked in scenes depicting that deterioration, with no attempt to soften or hide it. The 2 clips on file show Fassbender stripped down as the character's health collapses on screen.
