Generation Kill (2008)

Generation Kill is HBO's gritty 2008 war miniseries following a Marine battalion through the early days of the Iraq invasion, adapted from journalist Evan Wright's embedded reporting. It's a lean, procedural series with little interest in skin, but Alexander Skarsgard fans still have reason to linger, with 2 scenes on file catching the Swedish star in rare undressed form. His turn as Sgt. Brad Colbert made him a name before True Blood ever did, and this footage hints at the physical presence that would later define his career. For a war drama built on grit rather than glamour, these clips are a surprising bonus.
