"Doom Patrol" brings DC's strangest superhero team to television, mixing body horror, dark comedy, and genuine pathos as a group of traumatized outcasts learn to wield their bizarre abilities. The show never shies away from its characters' physical and emotional exposure, and that extends to the skin it puts on screen. Matt Bomer, voicing and occasionally appearing as Negative Man beneath the bandages, gets material that peels back more than just gauze, while Kyle Clements adds to the show's willingness to bare it all for the sake of the story.
