Brokeback Mountain (2005)

Brokeback Mountain, released in 2005, follows two ranch hands in 1960s Wyoming whose sexual relationship stretches across decades even as both men marry and build families elsewhere. Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger play the pair, and the film puts their physical relationship on screen rather than cutting away from it. This hub holds 6 scenes pulled from the movie, including the tent sequence that people still look up by name. Both actors appear nude in scenes shot for a mainstream drama, not a genre built around that kind of exposure, which is part of why the clips got attention on release.
